Our Priorities
Academic Excellence
Student formation begins with the faculty and mentors who shape the learning experience. The Jesuit Values for Business Initiative supports faculty and staff in integrating Jesuit values into teaching, advising, research, and community life. Through workshops, consultations, reflection, and interdisciplinary collaboration, the initiative strengthens a distinctive academic experience grounded in intellectual rigor, ethical leadership, and Georgetown’s Jesuit tradition.
Student Wellbeing and Formation
The initiative creates opportunities for students to explore their values, purpose, and calling as they prepare to lead in business and society. Through retreats, reflection dinners, leadership programs, service opportunities, speaker series, and immersive experiences, students develop the self-awareness, discernment, and sense of purpose to connect their talents and careers to the common good.
Signature Programs
The initiative advances mission-driven programs that translate Jesuit values into action and connect business education to real-world challenges. Through programs such as the Pivot Program and Small Business Corps, students engage with individuals and communities while applying their business knowledge and developing the skills, perspective, and sense of responsibility to lead with purpose and create meaningful impact.
